The establishment of Sandalford Wines in 1840 coincided with the birth of Western Australia’s world famous wine industry. Today we are extremely proud to be one of the country’s oldest and largest family owned winemakers.

The Year 2010 is a very special one in the history of Sandalford Wines. Not only does the company this year celebrate its 170 year anniversary, it also marks our 40th year as wine producers in the famed Margaret River region, considered by many as one of the world’s greatest wine appellations.

The company’s Wine and Wine tourism operations and facilities have developed iconic status in the past 20 years since the Prendiville family acquired the business in 1991. Under their guidance, both the Swan Valley and Margaret River operations have been extensively developed, and today the portfolio of wines along with the wine tourism facilities are recognised among the very best in Australia.

In one of the most sustainable wineries in the country we create our current collection of Prendiville, Estate Reserve, Margaret River Range and Element award-winning wines. With advanced viticultural practices and a progressive winemaking team, we have a long-standing reputation for quality and over-delivering at every price point.
