STEPPING tentatively out of a 4½-day fugue without food, I found a 21-gun salute return to the epicurean world in the dining room at Sandalford.
Or should I say 21 harps?
From the first crack into creamy crab and saffron arancini ($18.50) to the final melting dalliance with a wisp of fairy floss and sublime drops of rose syrup around pistachio cigars ($15.50), I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

Rock music legend Pat Benatar will perform at Sandalford Winery with 80s group The Bangles.
The event will mark the close of the annual Spring In The Valley celebrations in the Swan Valley on October 31.
Benatar will be joined onstage by her husband of 28 years Neil Giraldo.
