Wedding Ceremony

Verdelho Lawn

Surrounded by historic vines trellised on aged timber frames and with scenic vistas of the Swan Valley beyond, the immaculate shaded Verdelho Lawn is an idyllic private setting for an outdoor early evening wedding ceremony.

With the guests quietly assembled and the bride and groom taking their vows in the dappled early evening light accompanied by birdsong and the intoxicating scent of blooming summer roses, the Verdelho Lawn provides a beautiful and truly romantic setting for one of life’s perfect moments.

Merlot Lawn

A raised landscaped lawn edged by aged limestone, the expansive, manicured Merlot Lawn extends outwards in a graceful arc, providing stunning scenic views of terraced vineyards and lake to the south of the estate.

Within sight of the jarrah balconies of the Durack Room, The Merlot Lawn is the perfect setting for a ceremonies, marquees and reception celebrations.

Wedding Reception

Beautiful garden settings, incomparable service and a stunning scenic location combine to make Sandalford Wines in the Swan Valley, Caversham the perfect choice for your day of a lifetime. Sandalford Wines caters for every style of wedding, ranging from intimate cocktails, delicious luncheon buffets to formal dinners. An extensive range of luxury function facilities caters for weddings of 30 guests to 250 guests, complemented by Sandalford's award winning food, wine and service.

Underground Cellar

The doors to the Underground Cellar open to reveal a stunning open space set with soft table lighting and lined with authentic American Oak barrels all filled with ageing port wines. Formerly a red wine maturation cellar, the Underground Cellar is now a stylish and contemporary function venus. With its generous capacity, outdoor pre-function drink area with lake vista and distinctive atmosphere, the Underground Cellar is ideal for wedding dinners up to 250 guests.

Oak Room

Sandalford's most popular venue, the rustic Oak Room holds up to 100 guests for banquet style functions. This charming room combines walls of stained oak panels, oak barrels filled with luscious fortified Sandalera, a ceiling of Hessian drapes, an impressive wrought-iron chandelier, oversized urns and cane chairs.

Durack Room

Holding up to 70 guests banquet style, the upstairs Durack Room provides a simple but elegant experience that suits any function. An enclosed jarrah balcony overlooking the vines on one side and French doors opening onto a boardwalk balcony overlooking the river edge and lake on the other side provide a tranquil ambiance.

Element Room

Holding up to 60 guests banquet style, the Element Room brings the outdoors in. Available for evening functions, its beautifully tiled floors and half-height walls provide expansive views over the vineyard with a bubbling water feature give you a Mediterranean feel of the outdoors without being amongst the Elements.
